What is the meaning of the motto for Greeley? "Greeley promotes a healthy, diverse economy and high quality of life responsive to all its residents and neighborhoods, thoughtfully managing its human and natural resources in a manner that creates and sustains a safe, unique, vibrant and rewarding community in which to live and work".

Such eloquent words, that in my opinion at times, appear to be shallow. Ater being in attendance to the "Public Hearing" last night, and hearing from all of the good people that showed up, it's apparent that the City needs to re-priortize those programs and look to alternative ways, to fund their buses.

It's absurd to suggest a fare hike, then to slash service. Seemingly having two bites of the apple. Yes, we understand there are financial concerns that trouble not only the community, but all of us. To raise fares and possibly reduce service, doesn't speak to our "Quality of Life".
