Mondaze Rant
I don't know about the rest of you who follow this election process. I, for one am at the brink of nauseous. Having weathered most of the controversy about Rev Wright, and the other ill-logical inference made to Barack Obama, leaves me hoping for finality to come soon. Hillary talks about her experience in Washington. Lets explore this to some extent. What qualifies as experience? Is it hosting a dinner for some dignitaries? Flying to another country? Honestly, I have no idea of anything she (Alone) has accomplished. When she says experience, does it mean voting for the war in Iraq? Early on in her campaign she said that in the event of war, she would entertain using nuclear weapons as a solution to bring the war to an end. Any records of her accomplishments while in the whitehouse, are difficult to locate. From what I am reading Hillarys chance of being elected is equivalent to a well worn speed bump. You know it's there, but has no impact.
On the other hand Senator McShame a decorated Vietnam POW Veteran, having served his nation proudly and survived Hanoi Hilton. Is struggling with whom he is talking to and about what. Depending on the day he is either speaking negatively about the Roman Catholic Church, or voting against benefits for those brave Men and Women that are serving their country in foreign lands. He feels since we didn't win the war in Vietnam, suggest the war in Iraq and Afghanistan can be won. Even if it takes 100 more years. He is but an extension of Presidents Bush's, failed foreign and domestic economic policies. I believe it's his intent to continue Pres. Bush's policies of awarding the wealthy and penalizing the middle class. We can't afford 8 more years of Bush and the way he mistreats American Taxpayers.
After looking at all the candidates in the running. A clear definite leader is surfacing amid all the "he is and they are, rhetoric. The obivious choice is Barack Obama. He has been the ONLY ONE to state in public, he would eliminate those lobbysist from influencing which way a piece of legislation goes. Something this author believes is long past due.
