What does forever mean?

By definition, it means for a limitless time, always. Based on that, one could conclude that forever has no limits. Yet, our Postal System has decided that forever only means as long as it's in their interest. I am outraged. The postal "service", (now there is a oxy-moron) decided they again need to raise postal rates, to pay for storage. Supposedly to improve service, what? Does this mean longer lines at the post office? The ones we wait in presently aren't long enough? Or to increase the time we wait at our homes for mail delivery? Either way they have all but abandoned their motto, either rain, sleet or snow will stop the US Mail from their appointed rounds. Somehow if you are so lucky to reside where it snows, mail delivery can be stopped by weather. If mail isn't being delivered on those days, where is the money to pay for this service being directed to? I believe it's directed to those who head up this branch of government, so they can decided for us that forever means, NOTHING!!!.
